This is our official gear distribution day before camp opens. While attendance is not strictly mandatory, this is your primary opportunity to get fitted for the season.
Date: Saturday, August 15th, 2026
Location: Fort Hamilton High School (Report directly to the Weight Room area)
Who: All Varsity and JV players.
We will be operating in three distinct phases to get everyone processed efficiently. If you are here, move with purpose through each station:
1. Paperwork Audit & Clearance Check Before any gear is issued, we will conduct a final audit of your PSAL Medical Forms and Parental Consent Forms. If you did not hand in a stamped physical during the summer block, you must hand a hard copy to the coaching staff here. No clearance = No equipment.
2. Professional Gear Fitting & Handout You will be individually fitted by the coaching staff to ensure proper safety compliance. We will issue helmets, shoulder pads, practice jerseys, and game uniforms.
3. Team Meeting & Camp Expectations Once gear fitting is complete, we will hold a brief team meeting to outline the upcoming training camp schedule, academic standards, and our core program culture built on a Growth Mindset, Grit, and Success Habits.
⚠️ Important Equipment Notice: Football equipment is the property of Fort Hamilton High School and represents a significant investment in your safety. You are personally responsible for the care, maintenance, and ultimate return of every piece of gear issued to you. Equipment will absolutely not be released to any player who does not have completed medical paperwork on file.
